What we collect, why we collect it, who can see it, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.
Who we are
Core Bikers Bhopal is a riding community based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. The contact person for privacy matters is Kamal Kumar, reachable through the contact form or at [email protected].
What we collect
- Membership applications: your name, display name, date of birth, gender (optional to disclose), city and locality, phone numbers, email, an emergency contact, your motorcycle's details and registration number, your riding experience and preferences.
- Uploads: a photograph of you, a photograph of your motorcycle, and one riding credential or identity document.
- Ride registrations and enquiries: your name, contact details and message.
- Gallery submissions: the photo, its caption and your name and email.
Why
To verify that applicants are real riders with a valid credential and a motorcycle they may ride; to organise safe rides (including reaching your emergency contact); to reply to enquiries; and — only where you have opted in — to show your name or photos publicly.
Who can see it
Only signed-in Core Bikers Bhopal administrators. Uploaded documents are stored privately and are never placed at a public web address; administrators open them through short-lived, access-checked links, and every review decision is logged. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else. Your emergency contact may be shared with the organisers of a ride you take part in.
What is public
Nothing about you is public by default. Your display name appears in the members' banner only if you tick that box, your profile photo is published only if you tick that box, and gallery photos are published only after review and with the permission of the people in them. You can withdraw any of these consents at any time.
How long we keep it
- Identity documents: deleted automatically 90 days after a decision on your application.
- Membership records: for as long as you are a member, then erased on request.
- Enquiries and ride registrations: until they are no longer needed to run the community, and erased on request.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw a publicity consent, through the contact form — choose “My data”. Deletion erases your personal details and every file you uploaded.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Files are checked by their content when uploaded, stored under random names outside the public website, and access to the admin area requires a password-protected account.
